Since this year’s Rockestra theme centered around “a big jam”, we decided to have a little fun with the word itself, blending musical excitement with a touch of comedy. The idea was to create a lighthearted promo that would grab attention and resonate with audiences of all ages by taking the word “jam” literally… and then flipping it.

We crafted three different comedic scenarios, each starting with a seemingly innocent request for “jam” the fruit spread. One actor would approach another, asking something like, “Hey, where’s the jam?” only to be met with the unexpected response of an epic rock band bursting into a musical jam session. Cue electric guitars, and the surprised (and slightly confused) expressions of the unsuspecting character.

Each scene leaned into playful exaggeration, emphasizing the sudden transition from calm, everyday moments to full-on rock energy. Whether it was in a kitchen, in the living room, or in a public park, the message remained the same: this year, Rockestra isn’t about your average jam, it’s about the ultimate musical jam.

The result was a humorous and memorable campaign that stayed true to the spirit of Rockestra, energetic, bold, and accessible to all. It teased the concert’s vibe in an unexpected way, building anticipation and excitement while giving the audience a good laugh in the process.
